About Us

Who We Are

Gormley Missionary Church is part of the Evangelical Missionary Church of Canada, along with other sister churches of the area: Markham EMC, Eastridge EMC in Stouffville, and Mount Albert EMC, to mention a few.

We exist to equip and encourage fellow believers in their calling as witnesses of Jesus Christ and to point all people to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.

Our Sunday Worship & Celebration Service is one of fellowship, music, prayer, sharing, discipleship and teaching. It is a time for the church family to grow together and to worship our God with one heart, mind and voice.

Our leadership works on the principles of scripture which teach that any leader within Christ’s church ought to lead through service and example as was demonstrated by Jesus himself (Mark 10:43-4).

seek to serve Lord Jesus together by being his living
presence in our community!
